Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with
mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an
ABOMINATION: they shall surely be put to death ; their blood shall be
upon them. ABOMINATION MEANS - something horrible: an object of intense
disapproval or dislike, something shameful: something that is immoral,
disgusting, or shameful. God is very clear of the fact that sexual
relations between the same sexes are
immoral, disgusting, shameful and detestable. Now we see this detestable
lifestyle being promoted by the world today and saying God is in favor
of this type of behavior, but we find nowhere in the scriptures that God
does anything besides condemn this UNGODLY behavior. Romans 1 describes
in detail how that individuals become an ABOMINATION (homosexual) so
let us look and see how one becomes an ABOMINATION to God and toward
GOD. Romans 1:21 because that, when they knew God, they glorified him
not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their
imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
So the bible says that at the very start they knew God (they glorified him not as God) the opposite of glorify is to demean or debase or simply disobey what God has to say about the situation and also they were not thankful for all that God had done for each of us and then they became vain (irreverent , foolish, silly, prideful) in their imaginations, in other words they knew what God had to say but in their mind what they desired to do overruled what God said was an ABOMINATION, and their foolish heart ( I must refer you to Psalms 14 :1 The fool hath said in his heart ,there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works) was darkened because they could care less what God has to say about their lust and they said No to GOD but God has the last say.
“Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: “God didn’t fit their UNGODLY life style so they tried to change GOD and make him like corruptible man, we hear it every day how God loves everyone (and he does) we need look no further than the cross to realize his love and we need look no further than the cross to see how he is going to deal with sinners that change the holiness of God and how he dealt with his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON who took the sin of the whole world upon himself. If God spared not his own son for taking our place, don’t believe for a second that you will get a pass for rejecting Gods word and way of salvation. Who changed the truth of God into a lie.
SO they gave up God, tried to change the true God and make him like them but as always God has the final say and he made it crystal clear that there is the point of no return and none of us truly know when that is but we have the word of God to direct us and this is what God said: For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is UNSEEMLY (means inappropriate not suitable), and receiving in themselves that recompense of THEIR ERROR (means it is wrong) which was meet.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge (they didn’t want to think about God), God gave them over to a reprobate mind (to condemn strongly as unworthy, unacceptable, or evil, to reject), to do those things which are not convenient; so we see that God gave them up!
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
We can see from the bible that these individuals somewhere deep inside know what the judgment of God is, and that they are worthy of death continue not only to perform these Abominations but their reprobated mind has pleasure in defying God. They even fly flags proudly proclaiming that they are one of the detestable, unacceptable that is rejected of God. Now almost all our families are touched by this, never the less Gods word remains the same. We can love without condoning or accepting this lifestyle! God loves deeply yet he condemns us in the bible, and it is time, past time that we stand for God.
