Music matters. Dale taught our young teens class about this yesterday.
As CHRISTIANS, may we ask ourselves these questions regarding the music
we listen to. I challenge you to read all 8 and find the principles
found in the Bible that are listed:
1. Does this song honor God and His ways (1 Cor. 10:31)
2. Does this song help me think about what is right and true (Phil. 4:8)
3. Does this song reinforce my faith (Rom. 14:22,23)
4. Does this song approve what God condemns (Prov. 17:15)
5. Do the words of this song displease God (Eph. 4:29)
6. Can I listen to this song in the name of the Lord Jesus (Col. 3:17)
7. Do my parents (if you are a young person) approve of this song (Col. 3:20)
8. Will listening to this song offend the Holy Spirit, Who lives in me (1 Cor. 6:19, 20)
